After serving Telstra for sixteen years, Will McDonald has transferred to the consulting industry, appointed a Director of Financial Services, Strategy & Business Development at Brickendon Consulting.

“I’m very excited to join Brickendon at such a pivotal time. 2020 has accelerated a lot of change, and all businesses must recalibrate to remain competitive and thrive in this challenging recovery period,” said Will McDonald on his new challenge.

Founded in 2010 and based in London, Brickendon Consulting is specialised in helping clients with digital transformation, agile development and programme delivery. The firm’s solutions arm provides clients – mainly financial services institutions – with a number of solutions including tools for managing operation risk and workforce management/ 

Will McDonald joins Brickendon Consulting as a DirectorMcDonald been tasked with expanding the firm’s client base in the financial services sector, on the back of already strong growth of its Banking practice in 2020 despite the Covid-19-induced downturn. McDonald will also help Brickendon Consulting with growing its international portfolio, as part of its growth ambitions outside the UK.

My role is to amplify the work that the team has achieved over the years and create platforms for a loud chorus of customer advocacy to be heard.” 

He brings over 20 years of experience in enterprise technology, sixteen of which at Australian technology giant Telstra, working across Asia, Europe and North America. In his latter role, he led the Financial Services Industry segment for EMEA, responsible for business development, strategic partnerships and revenue management.
