Chandler Hatton joins Arthur D. Little in Amsterdam
Arthur D. Little has bolstered its team in the Netherlands with Chandler Hatton. The former ‘Young CTO of the Year’ joins the management consultancy as a Manager.
Chandler Hatton makes the transition from industry to consulting after having lead engineering and product development at SimGas for four years. During her time at SimGas, the biogas company transformed from a start-up into an international player offering commercial energy and sanitation systems, currently positioned as the largest distributor of household biogas systems in East Africa. In her role at SimGas, Hatton was awarded with the title ‘Young CTO of the Year 2013’ by TMC, a global technical services company.
Prior to her tenure at SimGas, Hatton worked as an independent consultant (under the flag of ‘Hazel Design and Consulting’) on energy, transport and infrastructural assignments. Hatton, originally a US national, has experience in various roles relating to product development and sustainability, building on her studies in both Mechanical Engineering and Architecture at MIT and her Master’s in Industrial Design Engineering from the TU Delft.
Per 1 September Hatton decided to embark on a new challenge, and joined Arthur D. Little, a management consulting firm with 30+ offices globally, from Boston to Beirut, Munich and Tokyo. She joins the firm’s Dutch office, based in Amsterdam, as a Manager, and will be part of the Sustainability- and Technology & Innovation practice. From an industry perspective she will focus primarily on the Energy & Utilities and Manufacturing sectors, two industries which hold a central role in Arthur D. Little’s service portfolio in the country. “Hatton will bolster our growing Amsterdam team and contribute to our mission of linking strategy with technology and innovation,” comments Martijn Eikelenboom, Managing Partner of Arthur D. Little in the Netherlands.
