Grant Thornton CF advises on four deals in Yorkshire

The corporate finance advisory team of Grant Thornton has advised on four deals in Yorkshire in a matter of days, including a management buyout, a sale and an acquisition. Looking forward, the business advisory firm expects the M&A appetite to sustain in 2016.

The first deal, Grant Thornton’s corporate finance team advised on, concerned the management buyout Tastecard and the Gourmet Society, backed by Bridgepoint Development Capital (BDC), in which the firm assisted the management of the restaurant discount card clubs. As part of the second deal, the team advised oil specialist The Kerfoot on its sale to French industrial and financial group Avril.

The team also advised private equity firm Sovereign Capital on the takeover of Sheffield-based education recruitment business Synarbor. The last company Grant advised was its client Armstrong Massey on the sale of its Land Rover dealership.
