UK-based Peter Bryan & Co merges with Prager Metis

Accounting and advisory firm Prager Metis has boosted its UK offering through the merger with High-Net-Worth Individual focused firm Peter Bryan & Co. As a result of the deal, Peter Bryan & Co’s employees and two founders will join the London office of Prager Metis.

Peter Bryan & Co, founded in 1993 by Peter Bryan & David Beech, is a UK-based provider of tax structuring and estate planning consulting and services to international and UK high-net-worth individuals in all aspects of their business and personal affairs. 

Founded in 2013, through the combination of Prager & Fenton with Metis Group, Prager Metis is a New York City headquartered accounting and consulting firm that offers a full range of international accounting, audit, tax, consulting, and business services. The firm has over 150 staff and 36 partners working from its 7 offices in the US and its European office in London.

In line with its ambition to expand its UK presence, Prager Metis has decided to add Peter Bryan & Co to its global network. As a result of the deal, Peter Bryan & Co’s employees and its founders Bryan and Beech will join Prager Metis’ existing London team, which consists of three partners and 17 staff.

With the move, the partners expect to tap into the growing market for private wealth. According to a recent study from BCG, global private financial wealth is set to reach $222.1 trillion in 2019, up from $164.3 trillion last year, with London and HNWI's key hubs.
