Claire Collins and Steve Cooper join property advisor Cluttons
Property consultancy Cluttons has hired two new senior advisors: Claire Collins, appointed Head of Block Management, and Steve Cooper, named Head of Development and Planning.
Claire Collins joined earlier in this year from Currell Management, where she was head of property management. Before that, she worked as senior property manager at Braemar Estates and block property manager at Burlington Estates.
Leveraging her experience in the residential real estate management, she will help Cluttons – a 250-strong property and real estate consultancy – expand its block management offering. “Cluttons is a fantastic brand and a business with ambition. I am passionate about property management and ensuring clients benefit from my expertise as well as my commitment to the very best level of service,” said Collins, who is based in London.
John Gravett, head of real estate management at Cluttons, said, “Claire has a long track record in block management and joins Cluttons at a time when there is growing demand for expertise in this area.”
Hired last month, Steve Cooper has been tasked with growing Clutton’s development and planning services. He will concentrate on building Cluttons’ UK-wide proposition through growth in development management, planning, viability and land agency, as well as on growing the firm’s market share in build-to-rent and alternatives sectors.
“Steve’s hire marks our commitment to accelerate growth in the development markets,” said James Gray, managing partner at Cluttons. Cooper previously worked for Strutt and Parker/BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he was head of London Land agency, and before that he served as joint head of UK residential at BNP Paribas Real Estate.
Commenting on his new challenge, Cooper remarked, “This is an exciting opportunity to take the business’ development and planning expertise to a new level by working with existing clients and building new relationships.”
Cluttons has eight offices in the UK, based in London (Mayfair, Chelsea, Hyde Park, Islington, South Bank and Canary Wharf), Oxford and Reading.
