Crimson & Co joins partner network of Kinaxis
Operational consulting firm Crimson & Co has joined the partner programme of Kinaxis, a provider of supply chain planning software.
Kinaxis is, according to analyst firm Gartner, one of the globe’s leaders in supply chain planning systems, helping companies to streamline and optimise their sales & operation planning, demand, supply, warehousing, inventory and other aspects of their operational and logistical footprint.
The Canada-headquartered company, founded in 1984, works with several third party suppliers to help its clients design, implement and maintain Kinaxis software. Having already worked with among others Accenture, Barkawi Management Consultants (part of Genpact), Capgemini, Cognizant, Deloitte and EY, Crimson & Co is now the latest consultancy to be admitted into its strategic partner ranks – Kinaxis also has service partners and resellers.
Crimson & Co is a global management consulting firm with a deep heritage in operations and supply chain. The firm, which merged with French consulting firm Argon Consulting last year, has over 250 consultants in seven offices across the world: Paris, London, Atlanta, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Melbourne and Mumbai.
“Crimson & Co are industry-recognised operations transformation consultants,” said John Sicard, CEO of Kinaxis. “Their strengths in project and change management, business process reengineering, solution design and their distinct ability to assess and measure supply chain maturity pairs well with our platform. We look forward to working together to help drive successful transformation projects for our joint customers.”
Clients Crimson & Co works with include the likes of Carlsberg, Diageo, GSK, Merck, Michelin and Sony. Kinaxis provides its platform to large corporates such as Asics, Casio, Dyson, Ford, Nikon, Nissan and Unilever. According to Sicard, Kinaxis and Crimson & Co will mainly focus on joint clients in consumer products, high-tech and electronics, industrial and life sciences.
Speaking of the partnership, Richard Powell, the CEO of Crimson & Co, said that he is delighted, describing Kinaxis as “one of the leading supply chain planning platforms” on the market today, thanks to its “strong functionality, high levels of user adoption and benefits delivery.”
Leveraging the tool and Kinaxis’s expertise, Crimson & Co aims to better serve its customers with their supply chain transformations and ultimately help them grow the maturity of their operations. “We are seeing that clients struggle to reach higher maturity levels and achieve the associated benefits without a leading, up-to-date planning tool, and this partnership offers clients the functionality to help bridge this gap.”
Last year, Crimson & Co and Argon Consulting were named one of UK’s leading supply chain consulting firms.
