Angel Hoover exchanges Towers Watson US for EMEA

Towers Watson has appointed Angel Hoover as Practice Leader Talent Management and Organisational Alignment for the EMEA region. In her new role Hoover is responsible for the further expansion of the practice in the UK, continental Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Angel Hoover has been with Towers Watson in Chicago since 2008 and has extensive experience in the consulting industry. Prior to Towers Watson she worked for energy firm NISource, where she spent five years, in her last spell as Director Organization Development. Earlier in her career she served Accenture and QTI Consulting. Hoover holds a Master in Industrial Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor in Business Management from the University of Minnesota.

Hoover has now decided to exchange the American organisation for Europe, and from the base in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, she will lead the firm’s EMEA Talent Management and Organisational Alignment practice. “With a lot of enthusiasm I am transferring to the Dutch and EMEA practice of Towers Watson. We see that topics such as leadership effectiveness, human capital analytics and IT investments are growing up the management agenda of HR leaders globally. I look forward to further optimising our solutions in the field and contributing to the growth of the EMEA region”, comments Hoover.

Globally Towers Watson has 16.000 professionals, the Dutch practice has 400 employees on the payroll.
