UK's top startups to work for according to talent

New analysis on the online job seeking behavior of thousands of employees in the UK has unveiled a list of UK's top startups to work for. The data reveals startups in the banking industry and professional services sectors enjoy the highest demand from (potential) employees.

Every year between 600,000 to 700,000 new companies join UK’s enterprise landscape, most of which are startups. These startups all seek to develop a differentiated strategy and positioning, as well as products/services that meet clients demand, with the aim of building a sustainable business.

Finding and hiring the right talent is a crucial part of this ambition, because talent can make or break a company. It is therefore key for startups to have an attractive employer branding profile in place for future recruits. In its annual Top Startups ranking, researchers from LinkedIn uncovered the UK's top startups to work for – based on data sourced from their massive user base. The network’s data scientists parsed millions of actions generated by UK-based million members, to ultimately measure in terms of reputation and employership how attractive startups are for job seekers.
