Tom Haak joins HCM analytics specialist Crunchr
Crunchr, the analytics unit of HR consultancy Focus Orange, has strengthened its team with Tom Haak, who joins as partner. Haak most recently served as Global Director HR of Arcadis and previously held senior positions at Aon, KPMG and Philips.
Since the launch of Crunchr by Focus Orange in October last year, during the Autumn edition of HR Tech Europe, the innovative HR analytics platform has rapidly gained standing. The platform provides managers with state-of-the-art insights in key themes such as organisation analytics, strategic workforce planning, succession management, talent management, employee preferences and rewards. Last month Crunchr, which can operate on top of ERP and other major systems in the marketplace, was named one of the five most promising HCM innovations in its 2015 Cool Vendors in Human Capital Management (HCM) report.
Crunchr is led by Camiel Selker and Dirk Jonker, partner and founder of Focus Orange respectively, who have taken the lead in developing the solution over the past years. With ambitious plans drawn up earlier this year – Jonker stating that the team aims for a "market leading position" in the global HCM solutions space – the two partners have decided to bolster the senior leadership team. Per 1st of June Tom Haak, an experienced HR manager with a “solid track record as an innovator in HR management”, according to Jonker, joined the team. Haak most recently spent more than 8 years with engineering giant Arcadis, serving as among others Global Director HR, and previously held similar roles with Aon and KPMG. In the early 90’s Haak worked for Philips, where he led the development of management development programmes for the firm’s top potentials globally.
“Crunchr has developed an ideal suite of smart apps that enable organisations to quickly kick-start their workforce analytics activities and to develop more fact based HR decision making. Crunchr is simple, easy to use by HR teams and aligned with future needs. That is what I like”, comments Haak.
Last year Haak founded ‘The HR Trend Institute’, a platform that “follows and encourages trends in the people and organisation domain” he says, a role which he will continue to pursue after joining Crunchr.
With the addition of Haak, Jonker believes the team has the capacity to accelerate the growth going forward, both from a sales as well as a client engagement perspective. “Tom’s partnership will accelerate the successful implementation of Crunchr with clients, and help to improve the Crunchr workforce analytics offering.”
