Edward Armit joins Axis Corporate in London as Senior Consultant

Global consultancy Axis Corporate has hired a new Senior Consultant as it looks to build the breadth and expertise of its London team. Edward Armit joins from Capgemini, having also spent time with Arup in Australia.

Employing 200 professionals across seven offices in the UK, Spain, Germany, the US and Brazil, Axis Corporate is a global consulting firm which focuses on financial services, insurance, real estate, energy, technology and telecom. In the UK, the consultancy exclusively serves the financial services industry. As financial entities bid to adapt to a new age of digitally driven competition and seek to disrupt the market for themselves by tapping into innovative technologies, Axis is working to better support its client base.

Earlier in 2019 this saw Axis Corporate look to strengthen its deep market insight drawn from a range of industry backgrounds with the hire of a trio of consultants to further bolster its London outfit. Maria Charlafti, Anastasia Tsoupidi and Bruce Withers joined to bring diverse expertise to Axis Corporate, gained at leading consulting firms and businesses.

Now, Axis Corporate has confirmed the appointment of Edward Armit as a Senior Consultant within its London office, with immediate effect. He joins from Capgemini, where he was a consultant within the Process Optimisation team, part of the Operations Transformation practice. That role saw him work with a range of financial services and public sector clients on projects spanning process improvement, customer experience design, automation and business model transformation.

Prior to this, Armit was employed by National Australia Bank as a senior analyst within the Consumer & Wealth Business Improvement team, based in Melbourne, Australia. That was after a three-year spell with engineering consultancy Arup, as an Engineer in its Transport and Resources Group.
