Global professional services network RSM has appointed two new professionals to its East Anglian wing. Simon Jones and James Watters have joined the firm as it looks to grow in the region in 2019.

RSM is the sixth largest network of independent audit, tax and consulting firms, encompassing 116 countries, 750 offices and 40,000 people internationally. The last year has seen the network collectively deliver on a strategy focused on RSM’s people, clients and future-led innovative thinking. In Europe, the firm’s progress was particularly pronounced, with revenue growth more than doubling from 2017 figures to hit 12%.

As RSM looks to build on a successful 2018, and bolster its offering for a busy new year, it has added two senior consultants to its team in the East of England. Simon Jones joins the private client services team, while James Watters strengthens the firm’s employer solutions practice in both Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge. According to a release confirming the appointments, both moves reflect the firm’s continued commitment to invest in key talent and expertise to drive further growth.

Remarking on the arrivals, Laragh Jeanroy, Office Managing Partner for RSM in Bury St Edmunds and Cambridge, said, “The addition of Simon and James to our team further strengthens our ability to provide a full breadth of services to our clients. This is an exciting time for RSM and both Simon and James bring a wealth of experience and knowledge which will further enhance our team in East Anglia and the pro-active commercial and specialist support we can offer in the region.”
