PwC & Rosslyn Analytics enter in business relationship
PwC and Rosslyn Analytics recently announced a joint business relationship that will see the two companies bundle their strengths to help clients improve their big data exploitation. The service is set to help clients advance operations, compete in the current field as well as foster innovation for whole new playing fields.
Rosslyn Analytics is a data analytics firm that offers various cloud based big data information mining solutions for clients internationally. The company helps businesses more easily exploit their data, turning complex data into information meaningful to wider business decision. Rosslyn was founded in 2005 by Charles Clark and Hugh Cox, and has offices in London, New York, Denver and Chicago.
With businesses sitting on more and more data, and with competitors finding ways to transform their value chains toward improved cost profiles and better customer relationships, being able to exploit Big Data is found by a recent PwC survey to be valuable to 75% of UK CEOs, while 79% see data mining and analysis as one of the key contemporary technologies.
The joint business relationship between professional services firm PwC and Rosslyn Analytics will allow for a number of synergies between the firms, with Rosslyn Analytics’ RAPid data technologies and analytics platform providing tools for businesses to quickly improve productivity and decision making, while PwC provides industry experience, wide ranging business services and client insights.
Together the firms will look toward providing three offerings to clients: to improve the acquisition and analysis of big data for reducing costs and risks, improving productivity and customer experience; to develop ways to leverage the data to better compete in the current environment; and to help companies innovate whole new business lines and ways of working.
