Following a spike in demand, Sheffield-based consultancy Aha Analytics has launched a new office, as part of its expansion plans. The firm specialises in providing consultancy and product development, specifically in the fields of data analytics and business intelligence.

Sheffield has seen a growing number of firms arriving over the past two years, and the first half of 2017 alone saw 35 firms relocate or move into Sheffield, with the newcomers taking up 170,000 square feet in office space in the Steel City in that time – almost as much as for the whole of the previous year. The exponential growth, on the back of various investments into office space by local authorities, continued well into 2018 – including the arrival of Capgemini among others – prompting heightened demand for local technology consulting in the process.

Founded in 2016, and formerly based at Sheffield’s Dearing House, Aha Analytics is a consultancy which primarily operates within the work-based learning sector, helping clients to develop and implement products and solutions. The firm’s consultants work closely with clients to design, develop and deliver effective business intelligence solutions that enhance performance in IT, finance, operations, audit and sales functions.

Aha Analytics has previously worked with a number of South Yorkshire-based businesses. These include Learndirect, Interserve Learning and Employment, and the group has also been engaged collaboratively with the Home Office through PSI Services.

Following a boost to its workload from growing client demand, Aha Analytics has been working to suitably expand its operations, and cope with the level of client need. After recently appointing Yashwant Dhanger, a mobile app developer, this saw the firm’s team consultants and architects move to a new 712 square feet office on Ecclesall Road.

Commenting on the move, Zafar Nadeem, an Aha Analytics Director, said, “We’ve been planning this move for a long time now but we were searching for the perfect sized office in the perfect location – our new premises on Ecclesall Road fits both of these criteria as it will accommodate our full team as well as allowing room for the further expansion we’ve got planned for the coming years. We have a number of exciting and innovative products in our development pipeline as we look to expand into other sectors and having this larger office is key to the delivery of those products.”
