Luc Luyten new head of Bain & Company in Middle East

Bain & Company has appointed Luc Luyten to Managing Director of the firm's Middle East region. Luyten, who works more than 25 years for the strategy consulting firm, currently is the head of Bain's EMEA Industrial Goods & Services Practice. He succeeds James Hadley, who was recently named head of the firm's Strategy Practice in the EMEA region. In his new role Luyten will be responsible for all client and office activities in the Middlea East. 

Consulting firm Bain & Company was founded in 1973 and currently has 49 offices in 31 countries. 

Luc Luyten has built an impressive track record in the consulting industry. After earning a MSc. in Civil Engineering (University of Leuven) and an MBA in Business Economics (University of Chicago), Luyten started his career at McKinsey & Company. Seven years later, in august 1986, he made the controversial move to competitor Bain & Company. He gradually grew to partner in the firm's London office and in 1990 he was the founding partner of Bain’s office in Brussel, where he for years served as Managing Director.
