Porsche Consulting promotes Michael Tribus to partner
Porsche Consulting has recently appointed Michael Tribus (38) as Partner. Tribus, who has been with the company since 2007, has been tasked with further expanding Porsche’s advisory footprint in the consumer goods industry.
After graduating in Mechanical Engineering, Tribus started his career in 2002 at automotive firm GKN Driveline, where he worked in the supply chain arena. Roughly a year later he moved to DaimlerChrysler, where he served as an internal consultant. During the five years with the car manufacturer Tribus contributed to several internal transformations in the field of process improvement, lean, supply chain and operations.
In 2007 Tribus joined Porsche Consulting, a subsidiary of the prestigious car manufacturer Porsche. The consultancy currently employs approximately 370 professionals, operating from five offices across the globe. The German-origin consultancy specialises in operational excellence, and serves clients in automotive, and among others in aviation, retail and FMCG.
In his new role, Tribus previsouly served as Principal, he will from the base in Germany be responsible for further expanding the consumer goods focus industry worldwide. “This sector is characterised by high product variation and short product life cycles. As a result, many companies are struggling with ever greater complexity,” comments Eberhard Weiblen, Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Consulting. “Our proven concepts enable us to successfully assist clients in making the processes between production, logistics service providers, and distributors leaner and more transparent.”
Last year Porsche Consulting added Federico Magno and Gregor Grandl to its partner team.
