Mobiquity buys Dutch consultancy Morgan Clark & Co
Mobiquity, an international specialist in the field of mobile engagement, has boosted its European presence with the acquisition of Netherlands-based Morgan Clark & Company. All of Morgan Clark & Company’s employees will join the American service provider.
Mobiquity was founded in 2011 and in four years grew to a team of more than 450 employees spread over 12 offices. The fast growing company specialises itself in online marketing, particularly mobile services, and competes with players like Cynergy, Siteworx, Sourcebits, and TOA Technologies
At the end of 2013 Mobility first ventured outside the US with the takeover of the Dutch concern Xaton. Around sixty employees of Xaton, forty in Amsterdam and twenty in India, stepped over to Mobility at the time. A second takeover followed shortly after – with the Dutch Dauw Design being bought out; a business known for its intuitive and ergonometric app designs.
Now a third acquisition deal has been closed. Yesterday Mobiquity disclosed that the firm has acquired the Amsterdam management firm Morgan Clark & Company. “The takeover place Mobiquity in a strong position to further expand its European activities in the field of consulting and transformation offerings”, says Bill Seibel, CEO of Mobiquity. “Given that the mobility trend is bringing about innovation and change for businesses, we will continue to hold onto a multidisciplinary approach as we stimulate innovation within our growing number of European clients,” adds the Seibel.
Morgan Clark focuses on big-business technologies, business consulting and project management. The firm has experience and expertise in projects with clients in sectors such as financial services, telecom and media, manufacturing and professional services. Just like Mobiquity the consultancy saw impressive growth over the past years – last year the firm was recognised as one of the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands. By joining forces Morgan Clark expects to expand her service offerings, whereby it will be able to offer its clients an “end-to-end solutions model’. Mobiquity in addition brings growth capital to the combination.
As it stands the management teams of both firms are working on an integration plan.
Next week Consultancy.uk will interview Damir Hajdarovic and Nesko Jancic, Managing Directors of Morgan Clark & Company, about the impact of the deal, the integration trajectory and the future plans.
