FTI Consulting signs e-discovery software deal with IBM

The Technology business segment of global business advisory firm FTI Consulting has signed a reseller agreement with IT giant IBM for its Ringtail e-discovery review and analytics software. By combining Ringtail with IBM’s StoredIQ software, clients can be offered a more efficient e-discovery process which will reduce costs and risks.

FTI Technology’s Ringtail is e-discovery review and analytics software that helps customers address legal, regulatory and investigative challenges. The software provides a visual approach to document review and predictive coding to streamline e-discovery into a repeatable business processes, helping organisations to lower their costs. FTI Consulting & IBM sign e-discovery software deal

Under the agreement, IBM will offer FTI’s software, and by combining Ringtail with its StoredIQ software* span the entire Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) process. This will benefit legal and IT departments with a more efficient e-discovery process, helping them to reduce the cost, risk and time associated with e-discovery and maintain a complete audit trail of documents, attributes and actions.
