Fourteen promotions for BDO in Southampton office
Accountancy and business advisory firm BDO has made fourteen internal promotions in its Southampton office, of which nine are women. According to office Lead Partner Malcolm Thixton, these promotions were all "well deserved".
BDO in the UK is an accountancy and consulting firm that offers auditing, consultancy and tax services to organisations in the private and public sectors. The firm is the one of the leading accountancy firm in the UK and has more than 3,500 professionals working from its 22 offices across the UK.
Recently, the firm announced 14 internal promotions in its office in Southampton, where the firm has a headcount of nearly 200. Commenting on the promotions, Malcolm Thixton, Lead Partner at BDO in Southampton, says: “This is great news for the individuals and our office. Tim Hayter has been promoted to Audit Assistant Manager, joined BDO in 2013 as Audit Senior.
Marc Page has been working at BDO for 2 years in the Audit practice.

Nicola Walker and Gemma Wright both joined the firm more than 7 years ago and work as auditors.

Emma Lawrence fulfils the role of Corporate Tax Assistant Manager, providing both compliance and advisory services, and joined the firm in 2013 as Corporate Tax Senior.
Rachael Tomlinson is an expert in internal audit, with a focus on the public sector.
Rachel Hardy joined BDO in 2005 as Audit Manager, after which she also acted as Audit Director.
Deborah McSorley has been working at BDO for almost 24 years and currently acts as Tax Director, specialising in Personal Tax.
