Allen Austin adds partners Katherine Beal-Roblin and Celina Ayala
Allen Austin, an international organisational consultancy, has named two new practice leaders. Katherine Beal-Roblin has been appointed head of the firm’s Life Sciences & Healthcare arm, based in Houston, while Spain based Celina Ayala has been tasked with leading Allen Austin’s Power & CleanTech service line.
Katherine Beal-Roblin brings over twenty years of healthcare consulting experience and an extensive professional network to Allen Austin. Prior to joining, she served executive search firm Kirby Bates Associates in Houston, and in the fourteen years previously, Beal-Roblin ran her own retained healthcare executive search firm, United Chase Group. She started her career at a Phoenix contingency-search firm, later she joined Hewitt Partners International, another firm active in the same field.
In her new role, Beal-Roblin, who earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Arizona State University, will focus on consulting start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, covering all aspects of the healthcare industry including searches for academic medical centres, healthcare and pharmaceutical organisations in a variety of disciplines within biotech, health system – hospital administration and nursing/allied health leadership, pharmaceutical distribution, hospice, healthcare IT, nurse instruction faculty and chair, managed care organisations and blood banking.
“I am really pleased to join Allen Austin to lead its Life Sciences & Healthcare search practice. The full support of the Houston headquarters combined with Allen Austin’s Foresight process will allow me to serve my clients in the most optimal way. It doesn’t get any better than this!” she said.
Celina Ayala is a new international partner based at Allen Austin’s Ibiza, Spain office. Prior to joining the HR consulting firm, Ayala managed her own search firm for six years, Ayala Consulting. She has worked with search firms all over the world dedicated to Renewables and CleanTech. She has, according to Allen Austin, a highly successful track record of identifying and aligning leaders with both publicly traded and venture capital/private equity-backed organisations, with the keen ability to identify exceptional leaders. Her new challenge sees her tasked with focusing on executive recruitment and consulting for companies in CleanTech, Construction, Renewable Energy, and Manufacturing.
“I am honoured to join Allen Austin in leading the Power & CleanTech search practice. I am passionate about the Power & CleanTech Industry, I plan on supporting and working closely with professionals in the renewable energy and energy efficiency markets, and have had the fortune of working with some incredible people,” said Ayala.
To spearhead its global expansion, Allen Austin recently opened an office in Turkey and in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
