ShiftIN Partners, an Abu Dhabi management consulting firm, has expanded its wings in the Middle East with the opening of a new office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. To lead the operation the consultancy has brought Marwan Aljahani on board – he joins from the local Saudi arm of executive training firm NOW.

Founded in 2011, by Amancio Torres, Carlos Guevara, Roberto Wyszkowski and Rafael Lemaitre, ShiftIN Partners is a consulting firm focused on strategy execution and innovation. The firm partners with customers in a range of sectors, including Government, Utilities & Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Healthcare & Pharmaceutical, Financial Services and Telecommunications sectors.

From its base in Abu Dhabi, ShiftIN Partners has seen growth and an expanding international client base, inciting the firm to spread its wings across the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The consultancy already launched a further hub in Dubai – UAE’s largest consulting market – and on the back of its ambitions a third office has been added to its footprint in Saudi Arabia’s capital city. With an industry value of $1.25 billion, Saudi Arabia accounts for almost half of the entire GCC consulting market.

The new hub is led by Managing Partner Marwan Aljahani – he brings extensive experience in the field of consulting and training, as well as managerial experience gained at a large Oil & Gas player. Before joining ShiftIN Partners, he was the CEO of executive training firm, NOW, in Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, he served Sabic, where he among others worked on one of the firm’s main performance improvement programmes over the past years (a Working Capital Optimisation Project).

Commenting on Aljahani’s addition, who is a Saudi national, Amancio Torres, CEO of ShiftIN Partners, said: “we believe that our already extensive footprint in the Saudi Arabian landscape of government and private companies will definitely accelerate under Marwan's leadership, leveraging his experience in strategy development, strategy execution, leadership development, coaching and leading change.”
