Accenture has acquired agile and scrum expert firm SolutionsIQ for an undisclosed sum. The addition boosts the firm’s presence in the high-demand software agile and scrum space, with companies globally under increased pressure to successfully transform their organisation.

SolutionsIQ is a US-based performance improvement consulting firm. The company, which has offices across the US, including in Boston, Charlotte, San Jose and Portland, with an additional base in Bangalore, was founded more than 35 years ago, and today provides a range of Agile and Scrum transformation services to clients, in the areas of organisations change, improvement of customer experience and creating greater business value.

Agile software development refers to a group of software development methodologies based on iterative development, where requirements and solutions evolve through collaboration between self-organizing cross-functional teams. Scrum meanwhile is the most commonly used subset of Agile, and provides a lightweight process framework for Agile development.

SolutionsIQ coaches, who are among the most sought-after experts in the industry, will expand our ability to help clients reduce investment risk, accelerate time to market for new products and services, and support design that delivers better customer experiences.”
