As part a strategy for growth at HW Fisher & Co, the professional services firm has appointed six new Partners. The additions include five internal promotions, Mandy Janes, Gilles Siow, Joel Courts, Helen James and Tim Walford-Fitzgerald, and one external hire, Ross Fabian.

HW Fisher & Co is an SME focused professional services firm that offers a range of financial and strategic business services to clients from its office in Watford and London. The group, whose turnover stood at £27.2 million last year, employs around 320 staff across its offices, and before the recent additions, its Partner count stood at 30.

The firm recently announced that it has appointed six new Partners, an increase of 20%. The firm’s large number of partner additions are part of its ambitious business growth strategy. The addition includes five internal promotions and one external hire.

The reshuffle includes three Audit Partners: Gilles Siow has been with the company for more than seventeen years and Mandy Janes has been with the firm since 2010 – most recently as Senior Audit Manager, as was Joel Courts, who joined the firm in 2006. The spate of promotions also see Helen James become a Corporate Finance Partner, moving from her former position of Principal at the firm, while former Private Client Principal Tim Walford-Fitzgerald becomes a private Client Tax Partner, having arrived at HW Fisher from Lewis Golden & Co in 2006.

The only externally hired Partner is Ross Fabian, who joins the firm from a career of more than 18 years Blick Rothenberg – now part of Cogital – where he was most recently a Partner. His appointment aims to bring additional experience in the area of technology, property and recruitment to the company, with Fabian helping the firm to improve the capacity of its technology sector team in his new role.

As Managing Partner at HW Fisher & Co, Michael Davis said of the additions, “With economies increasingly shifting to technology-focused firms, being on the cutting edge of this sector has been a priority at HW Fisher for some time. The experience Ross has will further enhance our service proposition in this critical area.”
