Korn Ferry adds senior experts to offices in Argentina and Columbia

Korn Ferry has hired two senior staff in South America. Juana Duque joins the firm as a Senior Client Partner in the firm’s Bogota, Columbia, office, she brings almost thirty years of leadership training experience to the firm. Clara Cardinal joins Korn Ferry Hay Group’s Buenos Aires office as a Principal in its Global Financial Market practice, she brings extensive international experience to the region.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry Hay Group, Juana Duque worked as an Independent Senior Consultant in the Integrated Human Development space. She was previously at Hay Group, which was acquired by Korn Ferry in 2015, where, over a period of seven years, she rose to the role of Consulting Director in Columbia’s Andean Region. She started her career at a boutique talent and management consulting firm, focused on supporting national and international executives develop and hone their skillsets; she was with the firm for seventeen years.

Duque, who holds a degree in Psychology from Univesidad Javeriana, with specialisation in philosophy and political science from Notre Dame University, joins Korn Ferry Hay Group's Bogotá office as a Senior Client Partner. She brings almost thirty years of experience to the firm in the areas of leadership development and team building.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Clara Cardinal worked at CCX Inversiones del Sur in Argentina, as a Managing Partner, for four years. She was previously an Engagement Manager in the Financial Services Practice of Heidrick & Struggles, based in Switzerland, where she worked for two years. Earlier in her career she worked at McKinsey & Company in its Solutions practice as a Client Service Executive EMEA, in Switzerland, from 2009, having joined the firm in 2000, before in 2005 moving to the firm’s Latin American operation where she worked as a Knowledge Expert. She was an Associate Relationship Manager for Latin America at Merrill Lynch from 1998, and a Project Assistant at Asociación Cristiana de Dirigentes de Empresa from 1994 for two years.

Cardinal holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from the Universidad del Salvador and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University - School of International and Public Affairs.

Cardinal joins the firm’s Buenos Aires office as a Principal in its Global Financial Market practice. She brings more than 20 years of sector experience to the role, and bring a global network with her from her previous international roles across Europe and the Americas.
