Jean-Christophe Coulot and Christian Seiffert appointed partner at L.E.K.
L.E.K. Consulting has appointed two new Partners in its European operations. Jean-Christophe Coulot joins the firm’s Energy & Environment segment, following a varied career across the consulting business; while Christian Seiffert, who spent more than a decade at Monitor, becomes Partner in the firm’s European Life Sciences practice.
Prior to joining L.E.K. Consulting, Jean-Christophe Coulot worked at Alvarez & Marsal as a Managing Director in the firm’s Energy and Utilities Europe practice. In the role, Coulot focused on sustainable development and business innovation, including digitisation and acceleration of transformation, cost reduction and performance improvement. Previously he worked at PwC, where he was a Senior Partner and Head of Energy and Utilities. Earlier roles include three years at Veolia, latterly as Special advisor to the Group CFO for the merger between Veolia Transport & Transdev and formerly as Senior Vice President at the synergies department; nine years at Deloitte, including five years as Head of Energy & Utilities in its Braxton-Deloitte Consulting unit and four years at Ineum; and three years at KPMG from 1996, as a Senior Manager and Head of Treasury & Cash Flow management.
Coulot, who holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from EDHEC Business School, started his career in 1985 with Banque Paribas, where he rose to the role of Vice President, and later worked three years at Lagardère as Head of Group Treasury.
Coulot has appointed a Partner at L.E.K., and will focus on the Energy & Environment segment within the firm’s regional Industrials practice. He brings more than 20 years of experience to the consulting firm, covering a range of strategy related capabilities, including corporate strategy, strategic planning, performance improvement, business transformation and change leadership across the industrials sector.

Prior to his appointment at L.E.K., Christian Seiffert worked at inVentiv Health Consulting, which was formerly Campbell Alliance, as a Managing Director and Regional General Manager of Europe for four years. Previously, between 2000 and 2012, Seiffert worked at Monitor (now Monitor Deloitte) in various roles of increasing seniority, most recently as Associate Partner. He was primarily focused on pharmaceuticals and biotech, medical devices, consumer goods and on industrial goods industries.
Seiffert studied Industrial Engineering at the Universidad de Sevilla and Engineer, Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at the University of Karlsruhe.
In his new role as Partner at L.E.K., Seiffert will take responsibility for the firm’s European Life Sciences practice. He brings more than 16 years of experience to the firm, and will be based out of its London and Munich offices.
