Aon appoints Jin-Yong Cai to its Board of Directors

Aon has appointed financial services veteran Jin-Yong Cai to its Board of Directors. The addition of Cai bolsters the firm’s top governing body with considerable executive experience within the China region. In addition, Cai joins the firm’s Finance & Organisation and Compensation Committees.

Prior to joining TGP at the start of the year, Jin-Yong Cai worked at the International Finance Corporation as its CEO for four years from 2012. Previously, Cai worked for Goldman Sachs, where he was a Partner and Managing Director, in his last role as the top executive across the firm’s operations in China. Earlier roles include Managing Director at China International Capital Corporation, where he worked for 5 years from 1994; and at the World Bank Group, where he started his career as an Economist.

Cai holds a Bachelor of Science from Peking University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Boston University.

Aon’s announcement sees Cai join the firm’s Company’s Board of Directors. In the role, Cai brings a wealth of executive experience to the top of the firm. Cai also takes a seat on Aon’s Finance and Organisation and Compensation Committees.
