The Brattle Group hires IP and commercial litigation expert Andy Harington
The Brattle Group has picked up Andy Harington, a North America based expert in IP and commercial litigation, from Duff & Phelps. Harington, in his new role as Principal, will expand the firm’s capabilities in North America and its clients as an expert witness based from Toronto, Canada.
Prior to joining The Brattle Group, Andy Harington was a Managing Director at Duff & Phelps from 2010. Previously, he worked at Cole & Partners where he was a Partner. Harington started his career at Arthur Andersen, where he claimed the ranks to become Manager within the firm’s Audit and Transaction Advisory services. Harington holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and computer systems from the University of Cape Town and is a Chartered Professional Accountant in Canada, CFA charter holder, and Charted Business Valuator.
Harington joins The Brattle Group’s office in Toronto, Ontario, as Principal. He brings more than 25 years of experience to the role, covering business consulting, M&A transaction advisory, and general financial consulting. In addition, he has served as an expert witness in arbitrations, mediations, and tribunal hearings. The appointment expands the firm’s expertise in, among others, the quantification of loss and accounting of profits in intellectual property and commercial litigation dispute, the valuation of intellectual property and the financial aspects of Canadian competition law.
