Merger creates 150-strong consultancy specialised in agile

Agile specialist firm SolutionsIQ has acquired BigVisible Solutions. The acquisition is in line with SolutionsIQ's ambition to grow its Agile capabilities, and will create a 150-strong consulting firm specialised in Agile offerings. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

BigVisible Solutions is an in 2006 established Agile consulting firm, based in Boston, the US. The firm that is specialised in information technology, project management, Agile, scrum, lean, and kanban, offers a team-up, top-down approach that empowers individuals at all levels of the organisation with the knowledge and Agile tools they need to achieve greater productivity, visibility, product quality, and accelerated value delivery.

SolutionsIQ is a Redmond (US)-based provider of Agile transformation services, established in 1979, that offers training, team coaching, management consulting, and software development. The firm’s clients include companies in the financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, government, and technology industries.

In order to keep up with its growth experienced in the past few years* and it in line with its ambition to grow its consultant base by 35% in 2015 to address this growing demand, SolutionsIQ acquired BigVisible Solutions. The acquisition will expand the SolutionsIQ’s geographic reach, especially in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic States, and create the largest Agile consultancy focused on enterprise transformations, with nearly 150 Agile consultants.
