PA Consulting has picked up Nordic banking specialist Magnus Krusberg from Gartner. Krusberg takes on the role of Partner, and strengthens the firm’s banking and insurance market proposition. He will work from the firm’s Stockholm office.

Prior to joining PA Consulting, Magnus Krusberg was a Managing Partner at Gartner, where he was responsible for Swedish banking and insurance clients – he delivered strategic and technology-related advisory engagements. Krusberg was previously a Partner and Vice President at Visab Consulting, a Stockholm based management consultancy, where he advised the firm’s clients within the banking industry.

It was his second spell at the firm – he started as a Management and IT Consultant at the firm back in 2000, and, prior to leaving in 2005, he served as Head of Business Solutions. In between the stints Krusberg worked for SEB, first as the CIO of the firm’s Baltic division, and then as CIO of the firm’s Merchant Banking division.

Krusberg joins PA Consulting Group as a Partner, and will be based in the firm’s Stockholm office in Sweden. Krusberg brings more than 25 years of experience to his new role, with which he strengthens the firm’s presence in the Nordic banking and insurance market.

Magnus Krusberg says: “I look forward to developing PA's service offerings to provide greater value to our customers in Sweden and the Nordic countries. There is a lot of expertise at PA, ranging from product innovation to services in the area of regulatory and compliance.”
