Mott MacDonald has hired Norrie Westbrook as a Development Director for its UK highways business in Scotland. Westbrook, who joins from MIS, will in his new role leverage his 20 years of experience in landing highway contracts as well as delivering financial performance improvements.
Prior to joining
Mott MacDonald, Norrie Westbrook was an Operating Group Director of Mouchel Consulting’s UK highways division: Mouchel Infrastructure Services (MIS). In the role, which he held for more than three years, Westbrook was responsible for Project Management throughout MIS client engagements. Previously, between 2006 and 2012, Westbrook worked at Scotland Transerv as a Contract Director. Earlier roles include Client Manager at Mouchel, between 2001 and 2004, and as an engineer at
Arup, where he started his career in 1996.
Westbrook holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering with European Studies from Heriot-Watt University. Since 2012, he is a Lay Member of the Campus Committee at Heriot-Watt University.

Mott MacDonald recently announced that Westbrook has joined the firm as Development Director within its UK highways business. The firm will leverage Westbrooks more than 20 years of experience, which includes landing strategic highways design and maintenance contracts, improving clients’ financial performance and improving project outcomes. Westbrook will be charged with winning new clients for the firm, managing collaboration between teams, manage customer and partner organisation relationships as well as wider business planning.
