Advisory firm Eden McCallum Netherlands founded

Eden McCallum has opened its first international office in the Netherlands. Managing Partners of the new hub are Heleen Wachters and Marjon Wanders, both former McKinsey & Company consultants.

The Dutch office, which will provide Benelux based clients with strategy consulting and management consulting services, reflects Eden McCallum's growing footprint. The office of Eden McCallum in the Netherlands is located at Gustav Mahler square in Amsterdam, the country's capital city.

Eden McCallum was founded in 2000 by McKinsey & Company alumni Liann Eden and Dena McCallum. The two seasoned consultants decided to launch their own consultancy in light of the growing demands of the lifestyle typical to the consulting industry.

“We wanted to continue with our profession, but at the same time spend less time travelling and hence be able to spend more time with family”, said co-founder Liann Eden at the time. The advisory firm has since grown to a network of over hundred freelance consultants. The large majority of them are alumni of one of the three large strategic advisory firms (McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group and Bain). Eden McCallum’s edge lies, according to the founders, in the fact that it delivers top class consultants with a more resource-friendly and efficient model.

Heleen Wachters worked between 1992 and 2004 at McKinsey & Company. Marjon Wanders served McKinsey for twelve years (1991-2003).
