Mercer Financial Strategy Group hires Mercer alumnus
Financial Strategy Group of consulting firm Mercer has appointed Mercer alumnus Norbert Fullerton as a Partner, a role in which he is responsible for growing the firm’s investment advice. Between 1998 and 2003, Fullerton acted as Pensions Consultant at Mercer, after which he left the firm to work for Towers Watson and Russell Investments.
Consulting firm Mercer, specialised in talent, health, retirement, and investments, recently announced the appointment of alumnus Norbert Fullerton as a Partner of Mercer Financial Strategy Group (FSG). The hiring of Fullerton is in line with Mercer’s aim to meet increasing client demand for risk management solutions and to support future business growth of the firm.
In its role of Partner of FSG, Fullerton will focus on growing the consulting firm’s investment advice to large UK pension funds and with an emphasis on strategic risk management. “Norbert has the broad investment and actuarial expertise necessary to help clients take a holistic and strategic approach to pensions risk management. He will strengthen our consulting expertise for complex investment strategy advice and support us in adding greater value to our clients,” comments David Fogarty, Senior Partner and European Head of Mercer’s FSG.
Fullerton re-joins Mercer after almost eleven years, during which he acted as Director Pension Solutions at Russell Investments for almost three years and as Senior Investment Consultant at Towers Watson for seven and a half years. During his first spell at Mercer, Fullerton fulfilled the role of Pensions Consultant for six years. Fullerton has a Master degree in Actuarial Science from the Cass Business School and a Bachelor degree in Maths and Computer Science from the University of the West Indie.
