Michael Amiot and Michael Hughes join West Monroe
West Monroe Partners has recently added two new Directors in its Chicago office. Michael Amiot joins as a Senior Director in the Technology Services practice, while Michael Hughes joins as a Senior Director in the Operations Excellence practice. Both new hires come from NTT Data.
Michael Amiot has nearly 30 years of experience in the IT and consulting industry. In the early days of his career he worked for Andersen Consulting (currently Accenture) and DC System, after which he in 1995 joined The Revere Group. He eventually spent more than 15 years at the firm, in his last role serving as Vice President of the Open Systems unit. Most recently he worked for NTT Data, one of the 10 largest IT Services companies of the globe. In the role of Vice President for the Advanced Technologies practice, Amiot was responsible for developing/delivering IT Transformational services, managing business planning/sales activities, team development, marketing, and R&D, in addition to leading consulting projects.
Michael Hughes also joins West Monroe Partners from NTT Data where he was Senior Vice President and national leader for the Business Transformation Services group. His areas of expertise include strategy, leadership development, performance management, change management, organisational design/alignment, training, culture change, business planning, IT strategy, and process design/improvement. Hughes began his career as a consultant with Litigation Sciences in Chicago and subsequently worked as a Senior Consultant in the Change Management Services practice of Andersen Consulting. Between 1997 and 2009 he worked as an internal consultant for Nicor Gas.

Both Amiot and Hughes began their new roles with West Monroe Partners on the 1st of August.
New CEO: Kevin McCarty
Last month West Monroe Partners, a North American consulting firm, appointed a new CEO. Kevin McCarty, who co-founded the firm in 2002, succeeded Dean Fischer as CEO, who headed the firm since co-founding the consultancy in Chicago together with 3 other ex- Arthur Andersen advisors.
