Grant Thornton opens office in Stamford, Connecticut
Grant Thornton has opened its second office in Connecticut, following rapid growth of the firm’s Metro New York and New England practice. The new office space is located in Stamford and will house 50 employees and is designed to support Grant Thornton’s further growth in the region.
Audit, tax and consulting firm Grant Thornton has opened a new office in Stamford, Connecticut. According to Frank Kurre, Grant Thornton’s Metro New York and New England Managing Partner, the opening of the office follows the continued growth of the firm’s local practice. “This office opening marks the latest milestone in the continued growth of our Metro New York and New England practice, the firm’s largest geographic practice. Our strategy includes better allocation of our people throughout the region.”
Lawrence Griff, Grant Thornton’s Partner-in-Charge of the Stamford and Westchester practices, adds: “Expanding our presence in Connecticut allows us to better serve our current and future growth-oriented clients in the area and bring to bear for them Grant Thornton’s national and international resources.”
The 6,300 square feet office that houses 50 audit, tax and advisory services employees, is the firm’s second office in the State* and is located at 300 First Stamford Place. The new office offers workspaces with access to natural light, and modern conference and team rooms that have the most current AV and video conferencing capabilities. “Our new space is designed to support the firm’s rapid growth in the region, while enhancing employee collaboration and innovation — allowing us to better support our people as they interact with our clients,” concludes Kurre.
