All four consultants will join FTI’s Strategic Communications service line. Hadler and Wright will both be based in Melbourne, and Skeffington and Morrison will operate from the Sydney office.
Robert Hadler has an extensive track record of leading significant change communications initiatives and managing high-profile issues. His experience spans many industries while serving in senior roles at Coles Supermarkets, AWB Limited, National Australia Bank, Goodman Fielder, The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, National Farmers Federation, and as a former Canberra-based economics and London correspondent at The Australian newspaper. Wright has advised on some of Australia’s largest corporate transactions and will bring that experience to FTI Consulting, where in his new role he will advise clients undergoing significant moments of change, including mergers, restructurings and privatisations.
Michael Morrison brings more than 20 years of financial markets experience across a wide range of industries including equities, investment banking, strategic advisory, funds management, investor relations and communications. He has worked with a diverse group of both private and public companies across a number of sectors and geographies. In his new role, he will serve as a senior member of the Financial Communications practice team in Australia, helping corporate leaders navigate moments of transition, deliver a consistent and credible message to the market, and cultivate a stable, aligned and growing shareholder base.
“We are extremely fortunate to have attracted such a strong group of individuals to our team over the past few months,” says Paul Downie, Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting. “These additions further bolster our ongoing commitment to provide our clients with top-quality strategic communications advice throughout Australia and our global network.”
