Huron Consulting Group buys Threshold Consulting
Huron Consulting Group has acquired Threshold Consulting, a US based provider of CRM consulting capabilities, as well as cloud-based Software as a Service applications, data warehousing and business intelligence solutions. The acquisition is expected to be completed in the coming weeks. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1995, Threshold is a IT consulting firm based in Clearwater, Florida. The firm combines business and technology expertise to help companies drive performance, utilising business intelligence and customer relationship management, data architecture and integration services supported by IT solutions.
Huron Consulting Group is a global consulting firm – its footprint spans across more than 20 offices in US and 3 offices in EMEIA (London, Dubai and Gurgaon). The mainly US consultancy focuses on 5 key segments: Healthcare, Legal, Education and Financial and Life Sciences.
To boost its IT consulting offerings, the stock listed Huron Consulting Group has decided to buy Threshold Consulting for an undisclosed fee. The acquired business will complement Huron’s existing enterprise performance management (EPM), BI and analytics offerings, as well as more deeper IT-solutions such as CRM, Salesforce.com and SaaS applications. For reporting purposes, Threshold Consulting will be integrated into Huron Business Advisory practice.
