Dorie Ramey joins Mercer as partner in Atlanta office
Global HR consulting firm Mercer has named Dorie Ramey Office Business Leader for its Health & Benefits practice in Atlanta. In her new role, Ramey will be responsible for executing the local health and benefits consulting strategy in greater Atlanta and supporting clients with health and wellness issues. She will report to Ellen Kelsay, senior partner in Mercer’s Health & Benefits business.
Dorie Ramey has over two decades of experience in human resources and benefits, most recently as the Vice President of Total Rewards, HR Services, and HRIS with Express Scripts. After having begun her career with Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt), she was a Principal at Mercer from 2004 until 2007. She also has experience on the carriere side with WellPoint and in strategic HR/benefits roles with Coca-Cola Enterprises. In addition, Ramey served for many years as a board member of the National Business Group on Health’s Institute for Health, Productivity and Human Capital. She earned her MBA from the University of Georgia and her BS in Marketing from Clemson University.
Per 1 September she has decided to return to Mercer, assuming the role of Office Business Leader for Atlanta’s Health & Benefits practice. “We are very pleased that Dorie will be joining Mercer’s Atlanta Office,” says Ellen Kelsay. “Her wealth of experience in diverse roles across the industry, along with her in-depth knowledge of the Atlanta community, will make her an invaluable member of our team.
