BCG's analysis shows that the list of most innovative companies is becoming increasingly dynamic. Multinationals are finding it harder to maintain their position in the list. For example, over the past year several renown companies dropped out of the top 25, including technology giants LG Electronics, Nintendo, Nokia, and Research in Motion. Overall, 20 firms fell off the 2012 list, of which 10 were completely new firms and 10 returned back into the top 50.
