BearingPoint closes partnership with Turkish consulting firm
BearingPoint has yet again announced a new partnership with a counterpart. The European-based management and technology consulting firm has formed a strategic alliance with ARETE Consulting, an IT-consulting firm from Turkey. The news follows just weeks after it announced a partnership with Spanish consulting firm Cumbria Consulting.
BearingPoint was established in 2002, and has grown to become one of the leading consulting firms in the region since a management buyout of its European operations in 2009. BearingPoint currently has 3.350 employees across the major European cities. In order to provide clients with a global footprint, it has set up several partnerships with players in other geographies over the past years. In North-America, BearingPoint works closely with West Monroe Partners, in Asia with ABeam Consulting and recently it struck a deal with Cumbria Consulting, aimed at jointly serving financial services firms in Europe.
ARETE Consulting is one of Turkey's largest SAP consulting companies. It is based in Istanbul and has offices Dubai and Riyadh. As a consequence of its quick growth – ARETE Consulting is according to its own figures one of the fastest growing consulting companies in the Middle East – the consulting firm was looking for a partner to boost its expertise and ability to respond to high demand.
Under the partnership, the firms will jointly pursue business development in the Turkish market and work together on the implementation of projects. ARETE Consulting will be able to build on the business consulting services of BearingPoint, while BearingPoint will in return be provided access to the Turkish market.
“With this agreement, both companies are positioning their joint services in their mutual markets and will share consultancy methodology and expertise”, says Bahadir Balibasa, General Manager of ARETE. Marcel Nickler, from BearingPoint in charge of this alliance, adds: “With this partnership we will be able to proactively support our clients in the Turkish market, as well as to provide comprehensive consulting services for Turkish firms in an international environment. Clients will get benefits including access to locally based resources, expertise, shared knowledge and uniform service and quality.”
