Ravical enhances AI platform evolution for accountancy firm trust

As Ravical continues to expand its offering across the professional services sector, it has introduced a series of product developments designed to help accountancy firms use AI with greater confidence across regulated environments. The move comes in response to client demand, as the profession shifts to adapt to new risk and compliance needs resulting from the technology.

Founded in 2025, Ravical is a software company offering services for accounting and tax firms, HR and payroll providers, and insurance brokers. With offices in London and Ghent, Ravical works across Europe to identify the agentic AI needs of each client, before it plans and executes it across the tools the firm already uses, and prices it by outcome.

Earlier in 2026, the firm announced that it was expanding to offer a new platform for consultants, helping them to similarly move away from billable hours, and into new models based around value. Now, as Ravical continues to build its services, it has announced its investment in trusted AI, tailored to the needs of regulated professional services across all three of its core markets.

With the European Commission’s AI Act enforcement powers now active, organisations are facing increased scrutiny over how AI is deployed, governed and monitored, placing greater emphasis on transparency, accountability and data protection. Against this backdrop, Ravical’s evolved capabilities enable administrators to restrict AI access to selected clients, block sensitive files and folders, manage permissions on a per-user basis and maintain secure data lifecycle processes, helping firms adopt AI confidently while supporting their wider compliance and governance objectives.

Central trust

Joris van der Gucht, CEO and co-founder of Ravical, said, “Trust is at the core of the accounting profession. It’s how we secure clients, deliver sound strategically valuable work, and sustain a reputation. Professional firms need confidence that AI-generated information is grounded in authoritative sources, particularly when advising clients on complex regulatory matters.”

Responding to demand in the accounting space, Ravical realised that focus needs to be on building AI that professionals can rely on, not just AI that helps them work faster. New capabilities identify new revenue opportunities across a firm’s client base and estimate fee ranges based on its own pricing strategy, enabling practices to uncover, package and price higher-value services more effectively. Workflow enhancements also allow firms to standardise successful ways of working, helping advisers deliver consistent outcomes across teams.

Van der Gucht added, “The future of AI in accountancy should focus on making entire firms more capable. By combining trusted AI, governance and commercial intelligence within a single platform, our mission is to help firms build lasting organisational capability while continuing to invest in the features our customers across the UK and other key markets need most.”

Currently, Ravical works with more than 100 practices across Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK – and is growing its headcount, with the full time equivalent of 30 staff already on its books.
