Turner & Townsend promotes UK leader Patricia Moore to EMEA top role
Turner & Townsend, a global project management consultancy, has appointed UK managing director Patricia Moore to the additional role of managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
A 26-year company member at Turner & Townsend, Patricia Moore has been leading the UK business since 2018. During this time, she steered the firm through a period of strong growth and led the firm’s deal and integration with CBRE’s project management business, which roughly doubled Turner & Townsend’s size.
In her client work, Moore’s experience has spanned landmark real estate projects and complex infrastructure programmes. This includes London’s Jubilee line railway extension, Heathrow Airport, Crossrail and High Speed 2 as well as projects for major real estate clients including the Wellcome Trust, Imperial College and the Natural History Museum.
In her new role as EMEA managing director, she leads the firm’s strategic direction and operations in more than 40 countries in the region. In Europe, Turner & Townsend has bases in over 25 countries, its Middle East presence is mainly active in the Gulf, and its African footprint spans offices in 11 countries.
Commenting on her appointment, Moore said: “Across our work, clients are navigating a complex and uncertain environment. Our UK and EMEA-wide and global footprint means that we have a deep understanding of the market so we can manage risk and keep investments on track. Our business goes from strength to strength and I’m looking forward to leading the firm through its next phase of growth in the UK and EMEA region.”
Earlier this year, Turner & Townsend was named one of the UK’s leading consultancies for project management and construction services by industry platform Consultancy.org.
