Leeds-based Iridium expands team with Phil Strong and Rick Falkingham

Leeds-based technology consultancy Iridium has expanded its team with the appointments of Phil Strong and Rick Falkingham.

Phil Strong joins Iridium as Delivery Practice Lead, bringing more than 20 years of experience delivering technology programmes across infrastructure, software delivery, governance and business transformation.

Having previously worked alongside Iridium as an associate, Strong now joins the consulting firm permanently, where he will support client engagements while helping to evolve the company’s delivery practice and further enhance its consultancy offering. His first engagement focuses on a major migration at a longstanding client of Iridium.

“Having worked alongside Iridium previously, I’d already seen the quality of its people and the calibre of its work. Joining the business permanently was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss. I’m excited to help develop the delivery practice, strengthen how we present our services to clients and support organisations through some of their most challenging technology programmes,” said Strong.

Rick Falkingham, an experienced quality assurance professional with almost a decade of software testing expertise gained across financial services and technology businesses, joins Iridium in its Quality Assurance practice.

“From my first conversations with the team, it was clear Iridium was somewhere that genuinely values its people and its clients,” said Falkingham. “I’m looking forward to working with a great team and helping clients deliver quality software with confidence.”

Based in Leeds, Iridium specialises in delivering large-scale and complex migration and platform services for (international) organisations. The consultancy specialises in delivering solutions across cards, payments and migrations, software engineering, quality assurance, and cloud and architecture.
