RSM adds George Fieldhouse and Alex Dugay to debt advisory team
RSM has expanded its debt advisory team with the appointment of two partners. George Fieldhouse and Alex Dugay each bring close to two decades of experience to the firm.
Jason Stone, head of special situations and debt advisory at RSM, stated, “We’re delighted to welcome George and Alex to the team at RSM. As the appetite for debt advisory support grows, their joint experience and specialist expertise will be invaluable to our clients and puts us in an even stronger position to meet increasing demand.”
At RSM, both appointees will focus on expanding the firm’s debt advisory offering, with a particular focus on strengthening the team’s London presence. They will also work closely with the wider consulting and corporate finance teams to support larger, more complex projects and bolster the firm’s capabilities in providing debt advisory support nationally to a wide range of clients.
George Fieldhouse has over 18 years’ experience in debt advisory. He joins RSM from Grant Thornton, where he spent four years as a partner and led its corporate finance debt advisory practice. George’s expertise spans the full lifecycle of debt financing – from acquisition financing to refinancing and lender education processes. He has a track record supporting private companies and private equity-backed businesses in all sectors including TMT, business services and healthcare and across a range of debt products from senior and challenger banks to debt funds, hybrid capital and asset-based lending.

Alex Dugay meanwhile joins the firm from his previous role as managing director at Peel Hunt, and prior to that, he spent over seven years at Deloitte. He brings over 17 years’ experience in debt markets – with expertise spanning bank debt, US private placements and asset-based lending – advising a range of clients from listed companies to large privately owned businesses across all industries. He specialises in delivering bespoke funding solutions and securing the financing that best fits clients’ individual needs. Over the past decade, he has raised over £7 billion in the debt markets.
