Public Digital appoints Chandresh Pankhania as chief financial officer

Transformation consultancy Public Digital has appointed a new chief financial officer. Chandresh Pankhania brings more than 15 years of experience to the firm.

Ben Terrett, CEO of Public Digital, commented, “We’re delighted to welcome Chan to Public Digital. He’s spent his career helping ambitious organisations grow and will be a real asset to the team as we continue to scale the businesses and deliver for our clients around the world.”

Founded in 2015 by the team behind GOV.UK and GDS, Public Digital is a UK-based consultancy that works globally to help businesses, governments, and organisations deliver services smarter. Headquartered in London and now operating across seven countries, with over 100 permanent employees and a global network of over 300 experts, the firm has grown rapidly, earning the King’s Award in International Trade in 2025.

As CFO, Pankhania brings plentiful knowhow leading finance teams in high-growth and investor-backed businesses across the professional services, media and technology sectors.

Pankhania spent nearly seven years at digital transformation consultancy TPXimpact, where he served as Finance Director, helping scale the organisation to more than 350 employees and £70m in revenue. Earlier in his career, he held finance leadership roles at JustGiving and William Morris Endeavor.

He will now oversee the firm’s financial strategy and operations, supporting the firm’s expansion and will help to ensure the business remains well positioned for long-term, sustainable growth.

Pankhania added, “Having watched Public Digital from the outside for a number of years, I have always been impressed by the quality of its work and the strength of its culture. Public Digital has brilliant people and is doing important work helping organisations and governments serve the public better, and I’m looking forward to being part of its journey.”
