Vallely Tankers merges with VJ Engineering amid international expansion
Specialist manufacturers VJ Engineering and Vallely Tankers have joined forces to expand their services for environmental management companies across Europe. The deal was advised on by RSM and DWF.
Based in Leeds, Vallely Tankers is a specialist vacuum tanker manufacturer, with over 40 years’ experience designing, building and maintaining tankers for the waste and environmental management, oil and gas and construction industries. The company works closely with waste and environmental management companies across the UK and internationally to design bespoke, durable and low maintenance equipment for a wide range of applications, as well as providing repairs, maintenance and upgrade, and refurbishment services.
Also focused on vacuum tanker manufacturing, VJ Engineering is based in Rugby, Warwickshire, and supplies non-hazardous and ADR tankers to a wide range of businesses. The company also provides remounts, refurbishments, servicing and repairs, as well as a full inspection and certification service.
Looking ahead, the merger will allow Vallely Tankers and VJ Engineering to grow as a combined entity, strengthened by shared expertise and resources. The new combined entity will rebrand as Supervac, marking a significant milestone in the growth journey of both businesses, while providing the same high level of specialist service and expertise to customers.

Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM advised vacuum tanker manufacturers Vallely Tankers, subsidiary of CMR Utility Vehicles, on its merger with VJ Engineering, as part of its long-term plans for market growth. RSM UK advised Vallely Tankers throughout the deal, led by James Wild and working with Declan McKenna and Olivia Bollington (M&A) and Anthony Cox and Thomas Coyle (Tax). Pearson Solicitors and Financial Advisers also advised Vallely Tankers, led by Keith Kennedy.
