Valcon appoints John Madeley as head of financial services

John Madeley has been appointed as the new UK head for financial services at Valcon. He brings a quarter-century of experience to the firm.

Commenting on the appointment, Laura Casci, UK managing partner, said, “We are delighted to welcome John on board at Valcon. With his extensive experience, John is a significant addition to our leadership team. His experience across consulting, technology and financial services transformation will be invaluable as we continue to expand our capabilities and support clients through increasingly complex change.”

Over 25 years, Madeley has built a strong industry record in digital leadership and extensive experience advising financial services organisations on transformation, technology, operations and strategic change.

He joins Valcon from EY’s Saudi Arabia office. There, he was a partner in finance consulting. Earlier, he also held senior leadership roles at IBM, PA Consulting and KPMG.

The appointment comes at a time of increasing demand from banks, insurers and other financial institutions for support in regulatory adherence, combatting financial crime, broader digital transformation and navigating AI adoption.
