Accenture opens Financial Services innovation center

Accenture has opened an Innovation Center for Financial Services in Jakarta. The new center is after Beijing, Bangalore, Chicago and Sophia-Antipolis (France) Accenture’s fifth across the globe.

The center offers financial industry executives to access some of Accenture's best thinking on mobile and digital solutions. Also the center will serve as location for clients to meet in order to join interactive workshops and to see real-world examples of new technologies that could be rolled out in the region.

Recently, also rival Capco also opened a center of excellent specifically focused on the financial sector. In this so-called ‘Digital Innovation Lab', situated in New York, the advisory firm exhibits the newest state-of-the-art developments in the field of digital technology, social media and creative design. Other recent examples: Altran opened an automotive Center of Excellence in Spain in 2012 and McKinsey invested €70 million in a Big Data-knowledge center in Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium).
