Artefact welcomes three new partners in London office
Artefact, a global consulting firm dedicated to data and artificial intelligence, has appointed three new partners in the UK market.
Stephen Bennet, James Swait and Don McShee brings decades of experience in consulting and industry to the firm. All three cross from other consultancies and are based in the firm’s London office.
Stephen Bennet joins Artefact from McKinsey & Company, where he spent nearly six years and latterly served as an associate partner. Before that, he had a 20-year Army career, where he focused on delivering digital solutions and programmes.
Bennet specialises in digital transformation, AI implementation and adoption, and Agentic AI. He has cross sector experience with a focus on financial services, private equity, telecom, media and technology.
James Swaith has spent 15 years delivering complex change programmes for some of the world’s largest financial services institutions, including HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, Santander, Natwest, and Nationwide.
Swaith began his career at KPMG before joining BCS Consulting, a London-based financial services-focused boutique consultancy, where he progressed to lead the firm’s CFO Advisory teams. He played an important role in helping to scale the business before its acquisition by Accenture.
Following the acquisition, Swaith oversaw Accenture’s Banking and Capital Markets CFO project portfolio in the UK, driving the development of AI offerings and thought leadership.
Don McShee brings over 25 years of experience leading digital, data, and AI strategy and transformation for numerous blue-chip organisations. Formerly head of AI, Digital and Data at Moorhouse, he has led the development and scaling of digital consulting capabilities across sectors, including financial services, life sciences, public health, media, telecom, technology, energy, and the public sector.
Earlier in his career, McShee spent more than seven years at PwC and held several senior roles in industry, including at insurer AXA and GE Capital.
Headquartered in France, Artefact has around 2,000 people working from offices around the world. Its award-winning UK team has over 120 people, including management consultants, data scientists, engineers, and marketers.
