SCALA adds supply chain design platform Optilogic to portfolio
SCALA has added supply chain design platform Optilogic to its list of technology partners. The deal aims to strengthen its services in network modelling, optimisation, and scenario planning capabilities for clients operating in complex and volatile markets.
Jonathan Clark Whitehead, head of modelling at SCALA, said, “This partnership strengthens our ability to help clients overcome some of the most difficult issues they face today, from where to locate assets to how to balance cost efficiency with resilience and risk. By combining SCALA’s practical, evidence-led consulting approach with Optilogic’s industry-leading modelling platform, we can support faster, more informed decision-making in an increasingly uncertain operating environment.”
SCALA Consulting was founded in 2001 and has earned an excellent industry reputation for providing high-quality supply chain and logistics expertise. The company now has an executive board of directors, all of whom have senior level business experience.
Optilogic bills itself as an AI-driven supply chain design software provider. The agreement formalises SCALA’s use of Optilogic’s cloud-native supply chain design platform, Cosmic Frog, which enables risk-informed network design, rapid scenario modelling and advanced analytics across end-to-end supply chains. Together, the firms will now support organisations to design supply chain networks that strike the right balance between cost efficiency, service performance, and resilience in an increasingly complex and uncertain operating environment.
Duncan Mack, channel and partner lead at Optilogic, added, “SCALA has deep, hands-on experience in supply chain and logistics transformation. By working together, we can make sure our technology supports better, practical decisions that genuinely help businesses shape and improve their supply chain networks.”
