Supply chain consultancy SCALA appoints Eamonn Woodcock as executive director
UK-headquartered supply chain and logistics consultancy SCALA has appointed Eamonn Woodcock as executive director.
Eamonn Woodcock brings three decades of experience in the supply chain landscape, gained in executive and consultancy roles with major organisations including Nichols PLC, Brakes, Spicers Office Team, Northern Foods and United Biscuits.
Woodcock spent the past eight years working as an independent consultant, leading and contributing to supply chain transformation programmes and the delivery of multi-million-pound cost reductions for FMCG, manufacturing and distribution businesses.
Earlier in his career, Woodcock was Director of Supply Chain at Brakes, an international supplier to the foodservice sector, and spent over a dozen years at United Biscuits in its logistics and supply chain department.
At SCALA, Woodcock becomes part of the firm’s senior leadership team and serves on the executive board. He will play a key role in strategic decision-making, growth, and strengthening client partnerships. In his client facing role, he will oversee a range of consulting projects in the UK and beyond.
“Supply chains face unprecedented complexity and change. My focus will be on helping clients translate strategy into tangible, sustainable results while supporting SCALA’s continued growth as a trusted partner,” said Woodcock.
Founded in 2001, SCALA is one of the UK’s leading supply chain consulting firms. The company also has operations in five other countries and delivers projects in many more markets.
John Perry, chief executive at SCALA, commented: “Eamonn brings exceptional depth of experience across supply chain strategy, transformation and leadership. Having him on our board of directors strengthens our sector expertise and reflects our ambition to support clients through complex supply chain challenges while ensuring SCALA continues to grow sustainably.”
