Sushank Agarwal joins Alvarez & Marsal as managing director
Sushank Agarwal has joined Alvarez & Marsal, to help build its European procurement capability. His appointment marks the sixth new senior hire in quick succession over the past six months, as the company continues to expand the practice.
On joining Alvarez & Marsal, Agarwal said, “The firm offers clients a service that combines strategic insight with operational execution. Agarwal brings over two decades of experience, most recently having been global private equity business lead at Inverto. In that role, he advised private equity firms and portfolio companies on large-scale procurement transformation and value creation programmes. His appointment reflects A&M’s continued investment in strengthening its operational capabilities across Europe, with a particular focus on procurement, supply chain resilience and cost transformation for private equity-backed businesses.
Prior to Inverto, he held senior leadership roles at Kearney, Accenture Strategy and Efficio.

Looking ahead, he will lead Alvarez & Marsal’s PE procurement practice, working closely with the European PEPI leadership team to scale A&M’s procurement capability across the region, partnering with private equity sponsors and portfolio company management teams to accelerate value creation through disciplined execution.
